Volunteer to help shape ASU Library’s text and data mining tools, Sept. 15

Researchers and ASU librarians working together

Volunteer to be part of a small group of faculty members in a 60-day pilot trial of ProQuest’s TDM Studio starting on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025. TDM Studio enables researchers to conduct large-scale text and data mining across multiple ProQuest sources with broad applications in research and instruction, including historical newspapers, The Wall Street Journal, dissertations, congressional documents and more.

Volunteers will be asked to explore the tool throughout a three-month trial, attend a short training session or book a one-on-one with a ProQuest trainer, and complete a brief post-trial feedback survey. ProQuest instructors will provide priority training shortly after the trial begins.

Interested? Email ASU Library Researcher Support at [email protected] to get notified when ProQuest TDM is available.

The ASU Library offers trial research databases for a limited time, allowing you to evaluate them and provide your feedback to inform our collection development decisions. Trials are only available for a limited time, so dive in and explore! If you use a trial resource, please provide feedback — your insights are invaluable in helping us shape our library collection.  Bookmark the Trial Databases page and check in on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025.
