Compete to be pick of the patch in the Fulton Schools 2023 Halloween Decorating Contest

Halloween decorating contest

Halloween is quickly approaching and it’s time for the Fulton Schools Halloween Decorating Contest! This is an opportunity for staff to put their creative minds together and showcase their talents. Teams from across the Fulton Schools are invited to participate in this year’s contest.

Participating teams will receive $150 (transferred to an ASU local account) to assist with decorating costs, a minimum of $50 of which must be spent on decorations. Teams may use decorations purchased from previous years, donated or made by students and staff.

Teams must register by Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, by completing this form: Engineering Halloween Registration 

Decorating must be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023.

Remember: Your space must be a public Fulton Schools space that is accessible to students, staff and faculty. Designs must be in compliance with all safety policies and expectations.

There will be two viewing parties this year – student judges will visit decorated locations on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023 (Polytechnic campus) and Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023 (Tempe campus). Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Best Theme and Costumes (best overall).
  • Best Tricks or Treats.
  • Most Original Idea.
  • Best Integration of United Way.

Winners will receive fabulous prizes, photos and recognition in In the Loop and of course, Fulton Schools-wide bragging rights.
