Submit your paper or tutorial for the IEEE Information Theory Workshop 2026

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, or IEEE, Information Theory Society is now accepting paper and tutorial submissions for the 2026 IEEE Information Theory Workshop to be held in Tempe, Arizona, from Nov. 10–13, 2026.
ITW’26 will be an in-person conference, and authors are expected to attend and participate.
Original contributions are invited in areas including blockchain, coding theory and practice, communications theory, applications of information theory and statistics, information-theoretic security, machine learning theory and practice, network information theory, network coding and distributed storage, quantum information theory, and quantum error correction.
The workshop will place particular emphasis on information theory in machine learning, quantum information and coding, and coding for 6G. For the first time, ITW’26 will also feature a student paper award.
