Share with your students: Apply for Summer Research Initiative by Feb. 4

The Fulton Schools offers summer research opportunities through the Summer Research Initiative, or SURI, for qualified students to gain engineering research experience and acquire an in-depth understanding of what it would be like to pursue a doctoral degree through an eight-week summer research program. Eligible U.S. citizens, permanent residents and ASU-sponsored F1/J1 visa students will receive a $5,000 stipend plus on-campus housing and some living expenses.
Only students between their junior and senior years of their undergraduate degree and those currently pursuing master’s degrees who are considering pursuing a doctorate are given the highest priority. Participants work under the mentorship of research faculty members and have opportunities to network with industry partners, other faculty members and their peers through a variety of events and activities.
