About the talk

Our growing capacity to collect vast amounts of longitudinal, multimodal data must be matched with a comparable ability to extract biological insights and actionable information. In this talk, Hsu will describe his lab’s efforts to develop and validate computational tools that combine clinical, diagnostic imaging, and molecular data to help physicians formulate timely, accurate, and personalized management strategies for individual patients, particularly in the context of cancer screening.

About William Hsu

William Hsu is a professor of radiological sciences and bioengineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a biomedical informatician focused on maximizing the utility of multimodal data to detect and treat cancers earlier. His lab harnesses artificial intelligence/machine learning techniques to integrate and transform multimodal data into actionable knowledge.
