It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Michael Goryll, associate dean of undergraduate programs and associate professor of electrical engineering in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, part of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.

A cherished mentor and respected scholar, he leaves a legacy at ASU and in the higher education community.

Throughout his time in the Fulton Schools, Michael made a lasting impact through his unwavering support of students, both in and out of the classroom, and his commitment to the engineering community. His passion for teaching and genuine care for others touched countless lives and his legacy will continue to inspire colleagues and students for years to come.
