Register your 6–12th grade student for SCAI summer camps

School’s in for the summer! Give your child a head start on their future by enrolling them in one of the summer camp programs offered by the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence. These camps offer hands-on learning in coding, robotics, game development and more — all in a fun and supportive environment. Not only will your child develop valuable technical skills, but they’ll also build confidence, spark creativity and make lasting friendships with peers who share their interests. It’s a great way to turn the summer break into a launching pad for success!

Activities are offered for middle school and high school students on the ASU Tempe campus and on the Polytechnic campus.

Camps:

SUCCESS: A Survey of Computing, Coding & Engineering Software Systems

At this summer camp from the software engineering faculty team, participants will have the exciting opportunity to create video games and experiment with virtual reality. They’ll build an LED message wall and create a web app using artificial intelligence. Campers will also get to practice cybersecurity skills and learn about various computing pathways, giving them a well-rounded introduction to the world of technology. Scholarships are available.

Game Dev Camp

Calling all gaming enthusiasts and aspiring game developers! Get ready to level up with this video game development camp. High schoolers will dive into the world of game design, coding, art and storytelling to create their very own video games from scratch. They’ll work alongside other like-minded peers and learn from experienced instructors who are passionate about gaming. Attendees will experiment with cutting-edge technology and bring their wildest ideas to life.

Robotics Camp

At this unforgettable summer robotics camp, kids dive into the world of innovation by designing and programming their very own robots using cutting-edge technology. Campers will team up with fellow young tech enthusiasts and gain valuable insight from expert instructors who live and breathe robotics. They’ll get hands-on with awesome gadgets and gear while exploring the wonders of science, technology, engineering and math in an exciting, interactive environment. Give your child the chance to ignite their creativity and step into the thrilling universe of robotics!
