Apply for the Gerald T. Heydt Scholarship in Electric Power Engineering by June 1

The Gerald T. Heydt Scholarship in Electric Power Engineering is a scholarship for EE graduate students to encourage U.S. students to pursue careers in electric power engineering. Please share the attached flyer and encourage eligible students to apply by Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Applicant requirements:
– Must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
– Must be enrolled in the electric power program in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University (or newly admitted to the program)
– Master’s and doctoral students are eligible
– Applicants must submit a one-page (maximum) essay that addresses “my future goals and career objectives in electric power engineering.” The essay should contain a statement of the applicant’s interests in power engineering.
– Completed applications should be emailed to [email protected].
