Research Computing will be offering the Software Carpentry: Shell, Git, and R for Reproducible Scientific Analysis online course Monday, Feb. 13–Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023. This three-day course will teach these core topics: the Unix shell, version control with Git, and R.

The goal of this course is to teach novice programmers how to use these resources effectively, write modular code and best practices for using R for data analysis. Attendees are not required to have previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop, and all levels of learners are encouraged to attend.
