Compete to be pick of the patch in the 2022 Halloween Decorating Contest on Brickyard’s sixth floor

Halloween is quickly approaching and it’s time for the Dean’s Office Halloween Decorating Contest! This is an opportunity for staff to put their creative minds together and display their talents.

Dean’s Office departments on Brickyard’s sixth floor (Engineering Dean’s Office, Research, Academic and Student Affairs, Business, Development and Strategic Marketing and Communications) will receive $150 transferred to an ASU local account to assist with decorating costs, a minimum of $50 of which must be spent on decorations. Departments may use decorations purchased from previous years, donated or made by students and staff.

Decorating must be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Remember: All spaces decorated must be public Fulton Schools are and everyone will need to adhere to safety codes. 

Student judges will visit the decorated locations on Monday, October 31, 2022, and prizes will be awarded for:

• Best costumes and theme: Winning department earns free lunch.
• Best tricks or treats: Winning department earns fabulous brand-new Fulton Schools swag.
• Most original idea: Winning department earns fabulous brand-new Fulton Schools swag.

Winners will also receive bragging rights and recognition in In the Loop!
