Submit topics for SWAP Hub – Microelectronics Commons, deadline July 15
The Southwest Advanced Prototyping Hub, or SWAP Hub, is part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Microelectronics Commons. The Microelectronics Commons Call for Topics is now open. In each of the remaining years of the Microelectronics Commons, the SWAP Hub expects DoD and National Security Technology Accelerator, or NSTXL, to make project awards to teams that are using its capabilities to meet DoD’s microelectronics prototyping needs in six technology areas.
Microelectronics Commons is a CHIPS and Science Act-funded national network for onshore, microelectronics hardware focused prototyping, lab-to-fab transition of semiconductor technologies and semiconductor workforce training. In 2023, the Department of Defense established the Microelectronics Commons – a network of eight regional hubs to evolve laboratory prototypes to fabrication prototypes (lab-to-fab) and to strengthen the semiconductor workforce. This Call for Topics describes the desired technical ideas for which project proposals are being sought.
The submission deadline for responses is Monday, July 15, 2024.
