The 2007 Learning Engineering Research Network, or LERN, Convening will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2, to Thursday, Feb. 4, 2027, at Arizona State University. It is an ongoing conference dedicated to advancing high-quality research in learning engineering, which highlights how a combination of education, engineering and design best practices can enhance educational systems and student success. The conference offers an interdisciplinary outlet for research in cognitive science, educational science and design sciences, with a focus on developing effective learning environments that address educational challenges.  

LERN 2027 will include talks, posters and panels by learning engineering researchers showcasing effective, data-driven processes and best practices, along with accompanying proceedings. The event will be in-person and will not have any virtual options.

Submit to LERN 2027 by Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026.
