Congratulations to Ashley Anderson on being one of Phoenix’s 40 Under 40 honorees!

Ashley Anderson, associate director of people and talent in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, was selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2026 40 Under 40 honorees.
In her role with the Fulton Schools, Anderson applies a community-centered leadership approach to optimizing human capital and fostering inclusive workplace cultures. With expertise in strategic planning, employee relations, talent acquisition and leadership development, she brings a unique perspective that bridges organizational excellence and community impact.
Anderson also serves as chair of the Governor’s Office of African American Affairs, having been appointed by Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs. In this role, she advocates for equity and opportunity for African Americans across the state.
Each year, the Phoenix Business Journal recognizes 40 emerging leaders who are making a significant impact in the Valley through their professional achievements, leadership and community contributions.
