Congratulations to the 2026 Mosaic Awardees

The Mosaic Award honors a Fulton Schools faculty member who exemplifies the Fulton Schools value of building a foundation for all to be successful in their daily practices related to teaching, research, service and outreach. This year, the Fulton Schools Inclusive Excellence Faculty Advisory Council, or IFAC, received 23 unique nominations for 20 Fulton Schools faculty members. IFAC selected one tenure-track awardee and one career-track faculty awardee, both of whom were recognized for their efforts to foster an environment in which all members of the Fulton Schools community have access to educational and professional opportunities, feel included and valued, and have the support they need to achieve their full potential.  

Samantha Brunhaver, an associate professor and the graduate program chair for engineering programs in The Polytechnic School, received the Mosaic Award in recognition of the tremendous level of student support she provides in her role as program chair for the Engineering Education Systems and Design program, her contributions to Fulton Schools faculty success through her leadership in the M360 faculty mentoring program and her broad investment in Fulton Schools PhD student success through her collaborative leadership and contributions to the development and launch of the Fulton Schools PhD student onboarding program.

Christina Carrasquilla, an associate teaching professor and graduate program chair for the graphic information technology, or GIT, program in The Polytechnic School, was selected because of her commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment for students, the related guidance she provides to other faculty through her efforts as a faculty coach with the Learning and Teaching Hub and her dedication to supporting faculty and student success through her role as GIT graduate program chair

The other outstanding Fulton Schools faculty members nominated for the 2026 Mosaic Award are: Anoop Singh, Ayca Tuzmen, Bala Vignesh Sundaram, Cheryl Jennings, Daniel Frank, Emily Hinkle, Olivia Burnsed, Suzan Allaham, Bruno Azeredo, Everett Eustance, Hasan Davulcu, Hua Wei, Mike Ranjam, Qijun Hong, Ricardo Eiris, Rob Gray, Rosy Krajmalnik-Brown and Yongming Liu.
