ASU’s new approach to performance and development

ASU has launched Check-Ins, a new way to support your performance and development as a Fulton Schools staff member. This process replaces EDGE Conversations and continues to give you a voice in shaping your career.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1 — Self-evaluation (Sept.):
You should have received a Check-In task in Workday. You’ll reflect on your achievements, challenges, goals and development needs. You have until Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, to complete your self-evaluation.
Step 2 — Manager feedback (Oct.):
Your manager will review your input and share their feedback. Then, you’ll meet for a conversation focused on alignment, support and development.
A few things to know:
- The Check-In is designed to support connection and feedback — not compliance.
- It happens twice a year.
- You can pause and return to your Check-In before submitting.
- Use the Check-In Coach for tips, prompts, and prep support.
Visit Workday Learning for self-paced training for employees and managers, and reach out to your human resources manager if you have questions.
This is a meaningful step toward our continued success — as individuals and as a team.
