ASU Research Computing will be sponsoring five undergraduate students to participate in the SC23 Student Cluster Competition. SC23 is an international conference for high-performance computing, networking, storage and analysis. The Student Cluster Competition, or SCC, was developed in 2007 to provide an immersive high-performance computing experience to undergraduate and high school students. The SCC is an opportunity for students to showcase their expertise in a friendly, yet spirited, competition.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a university or high school, be at least 18 years old and not have received a bachelor’s degree or equivalent before the beginning of the SCC (Tuesday, November 14, 2023).
To be considered for a spot on the ASU team, please fill out the application form by Monday, April 17, 2023. If selected to compete, team members will be expected to meet weekly between June and November. Students will be required to request permission from their professors to travel to and attend the SC23 conference Sunday, November 12, 2023–Friday, November 17, 2023.
An information session will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 3 p.m. to provide additional details and previous experience from past participants.
If you require assistance with filling out this form, or have additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and direct questions or requests to ASU Research Computing.
