ASU’s Emerging Supervisor Pathway training is a self-paced experience for employees aspiring to become supervisors with no prior experience and those with limited experience who have not yet been admitted to LWD’s Supervisor Development Program.

Application/approval process:

  1. Applicants must submit an essay (no more than 250 words) to their supervisor indicating their professional goals, why they want to supervise others and what they hope to learn from participation.
  2. After gaining supervisor approval, applicants will submit a completed application form through QuestionPro.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any applicant who submits an application after the maximum occupancy has been reached will be placed on an interest list and will be notified when the next training series begins.

Accepted applicants will be individually emailed about their acceptance into the program with their supervisor copied on the email. The acceptance email will include payment instructions and additional next steps. Participation in this training is $50/person and must be part by the department. Participants will be notified within three business days after the application close date.
