TERRa-Fresh is an integrated planning and coordination environment developed by Rene Villalobos, an associate professor of industrial engineering, and a team of researchers at ASU, New Mexico State University and industry that seeks to use the new technological realities of the supply chain of fresh agricultural products for the benefit of growers, consumers and the environment.

The proposed TERRa-Fresh environment aims to increase the profitability of small growers, provide greater availability of affordable and nutritious food for consumers, and reduce food waste throughout the supply chain.

Learn about advances in the use of data mining and artificial intelligence tools to identify market opportunities for small growers, planning tools to produce local and organic products, efficient logistics for small harvests of fresh products and marketplace tools for spot and forward sales negotiations at the upcoming TERRa-Fresh meeting.
