Report an accessibility problem

The Fulton Schools EPICS High program and Southwest Human Development (SWHD) are joining forces to deliver the MAKERS of Change Assistive Technology Challenge. The experience engages high school students to advance their STEM knowledge and learn important lessons about the practical application of assistive technology solutions to support young children with disabilities. On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, students were presented with an assistive technology challenge based on the needs of a real SWHD client.

With 99 teams competing, we are in need of 45 judges to help review proposed solutions. Sign up to be a judge.

Time commitment:

  • Attend one of two virtual judging orientation sessions: Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 8 a.m. OR 7 p.m.
  • Review and score up to eight 5-minute video project submissions on your own time during the weekend of Saturday, October 23, 2021–Sunday, October 24, 2021.
  • Judges may be asked to attend follow-up meetings during the week of October 25, 2021, to help determine finalists.
