Arizona 11th and 12th graders are invited to apply to the National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI).

As an NSTI participant, students will interact with ASU engineering faculty and students, attend virtual workshops, engage in transportation-related virtual visits, and complete field work related to maintaining safe, sustainable, and efficient transit.

Accepted students will receive an Arduino robotics kit, a TI-Nspire™ calculator and a program t-shirt before their first day.

This program is FREE and is designed for highly accomplished and motivated students.

Accepted students can choose to participate during one of the following weeks:

  • Week 1: June 28, 2021–July 2, 2021
  • Week 2: July 12, 2021–July 16, 2021

Applications are due Friday, May 28, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Learn about eligibility requirements and apply.
