A grad attends a Zoom party

The Class of 2021 has worked hard to make it to this point. Show your support for their outstanding achievements by submitting a congratulatory video and attending the Convocation festivities on Monday, May 3, 2021.

Send a personalized message

Give your grads a send-off to remember and let your creativity shine by recording a short, celebratory video to be played during the ceremony. Submit your videos by Wednesday, April 14, 2021, and don’t forget to upload a photo release waiver to Dropbox

Here are some tips for recording your masterpiece and some on-camera prompts:

  • Congrats, Class of 2021!
  • Congratulations!
  • So proud of you!
  • Air high-five
  • Go Devils!
  • Air hugs
  • Smile and do the pitchfork
  • Heart with your hands
  • Way to go
  • You’re off to do great things!
  • Congratulations and BRAVO! (clap hands)
  • This calls for celebrating!
  • You did it! Congrats!
  • Caps off to you, Graduate! Well done!
  • We just couldn’t be happier for you!
  • What an impressive achievement!
  • Happy Graduation Day!

Support in-person events by attending or volunteering

In-person events are being planned by some schools and programs. Look for emails from your department or school leadership to learn how you can attend. In-person events are for graduates, faculty and staff only. No family, friends or other visitors may attend.

Remind your students to register for Convocation

All graduating students must register for Convocation in My ASU. Encourage your students to sign up before Tuesday, April 20, 2021!
