The Frontier Topics in Vision and Language Seminar features researchers working at the forefront of topics in computer vision and natural language processing. 

Pratyay Banerjee, Yezhou Yang and Chitta Baral will host Damien Teney from the Australian Institute for Machine Learning for his talk, “Visual question answering and deep learning: Are we building a ladder to the moon?”

Teney works at the intersection of computer vision, natural language processing and machine learning, and has made significant contributions to visual question answering, image captioning and scene understanding.
