Humanity faces challenges that have never been faced before. To meet them, humanity must transform learning to embrace exploration of the unknown, not just mastery of what is known, at societal scale. Digital technologies are the key to realizing this potential, but to date most educational technology has focused on widening access to traditional mastery models of teaching and learning. This presentation will describe how the Center for Education Through Exploration at ASU is working with NASA and others to pioneer new approaches to meet this challenge.
