The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program provides scholarships for postdoctoral students advancing STEM fields at premier universities in the United States to do research at one of seven Israeli universities. The scholarship offers $52,000 per academic year for up to two years.

Additionally, scholars have the opportunity to be immersed in Israeli culture, meet with ethnic groups and visit science parks in Israel.

Participating universities include Bar-Ilan University, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Tel Aviv University, University of Haifa and Weizmann Institute of Science.

Following their research, many postdoctoral students go one to accept faculty positions at American universities.
