The H Drive storage for Windows is being retired. If you have any stored data on this drive, it will need to be migrated to one of the other university provided storage solutions. These storage solutions are outlined below with resources on how to switch.
If you have previously migrated this data and no longer need access to the H Drive, please let your department’s IT team know and they will mark it as complete. The target retirement date is Sunday, March 31, 2019.
One Drive:
One Drive is Microsoft’s official cloud storage solution and works with MS Office and other MS products. ASU provides 1TB of storage and information on signing in and transferring your data.
Dropbox:
ASU provides 1 TB of storage with Dropbox and it functions in the much the same manner as the H Drive. You will need to request an account if you do not already have one. To begin transferring your data you must request a Dropbox account. You can also review other information on setup and usage.
Once you have moved your data, please delete it on the H Drive. This will serve as an indicator that the transfer is complete.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact your department’s IT team.
