The TECO Green Tech International Contest invites your team to present your innovative, green research. The International Competition is now open!

Their theme is green technologies, covering renewable energy, high-efficiency motor and generator, system efficiency improvement, electric vehicle, waste handling and purifying, carbon reduction and other sustainable technologies.

Each team must have a minimum of three members. Team members can be from different schools or departments, but each member can only belong to one team. Teams may be formed by teachers as advisors and undergraduate students.

Submit your team profiles by Sunday, June 3, 2018. Work descriptions are due Sunday, July 1, 2018. 

The final competition is Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in Taiwan, where your team will present an oral presentation and work demonstration. The committee selects qualified teams to attend the final competition based on the information submitted in June and July. These results will be announced Friday, July 13, 2018. U.S.-based teams receive a subsidy of $1,000 per person, and a two-day trip to Taiwan, with its additional $100 fee. 

Cash prizes are awarded to the winners, with the Gold Medalist team winning $10,000. Finalists also receive merit certificates.
