If you are mentoring a Fulton Schools master’s student, consider encouraging them to apply for MORE.

The Master’s Opportunity in Research Engineering (MORE) is designed to enhance a student’s engineering and technical graduate curriculum by providing hands-on lab experience, independent and thesis-based research, and the opportunity to travel to professional conferences. The MORE program operates during summer, fall, and spring semesters.

Students in MORE develop an idea under the mentorship of a Fulton Schools faculty member, then apply for funding. Once accepted, they perform research, attend workshops, prepare research summaries, and participate in the research symposium. Review the application guide for assistance.

MORE is accepting applications now for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019.

Students must apply by noon on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Faculty mentors must submit support letters by 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018

Learn more by checking out the MORE website, reviewing the application guide and/or attending an Unwrapping Research Workshop.

Save the date: Spring 2018 FURI Symposium, Friday, April 20, 2018.
