ASU CSW/SC Professional Development Conference 2017 call for workshop proposals flierThe ASU Commission on the Status of Women and the ASU Staff Council is now accepting conference workshop proposals for its Professional Development Conference this October.

If you have skills, experience and expertise that you’d like to share, consider being a presenter. The CSW and Staff Council are looking to add new sessions to this year’s conference and are opening the opportunity for faculty, skilled staff members and graduate students to lead conference presentations.

Complete the proposal form and return it to the CSW Office by Thursday, May 11, 2017.

The goal of the CSW/SC Professional Development Conference is to provide readily accessible information, resources and strategies to help individuals succeed in their current positions and in their long-term careers. Last year, close to 2,000 people participated in the event and this year promises to be even bigger.

Each campus will offer an exciting variety of workshop sessions and special lunchtime events, covering topics related to career development, workplace skills, leadership training, supervisory training, financial planning, family, work/life balance among many others.

The conference is free and open to all ASU faculty, staff and students to attend at any campus.
