Cornhole Tournament results

Team Soker: Mike Sever and Brian Volker from SSEBE Academic Services
Thank you so much to everyone that participated in the 2016 Cornhole Tournament, cheered on the players, purchased food or bought tickets for the 50/50 raffle!
The winner of this year’s tournament is Team Soker: Mike Sever and Brian Volker from SSEBE Academic Services!
Congratulations to our two-time winners — they also won two years ago. This year, they battled it out with Beer Break!’s Jordan Thomas, from Accounting and Jim Daniels from the Marketing Hub, who placed second.
We will be donating $1,167 to the United Way. We raised $320 from tournament registrations, $140 from the 50/50 raffle and $707 from food sales.
We are already planning the fun for next year. Start practicing now!

Campaign update
Some departments are inching toward 100 percent participation: Communications, Development and Research each have an 80 percent response rate and several units at the Polytechnic School are in the high 70s. So far, the Fulton Schools have raised $37,855 toward our overall goal of $45,000.
Help your team reach 100 participation: Go to My ASU and complete the online process, or download the pledge form and send it to Mail Code 1304 or turn it in to your United Way representative. Remember, you do not have to make a contribution to be counted as a participant, but you must complete a form.
The United Way Campaign ends on Wednesday, Nov 30, 2016 — so as you review your open enrollment benefits, please consider adding a couple of dollars per paycheck to support our community.
