The 2016 United Way Chili Cook-off held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Brickyard Engineering’s sixth floor raised $150 for our local nonprofit organization. Organized by Michael Padden from Engineering Research, the event’s aromas attracted a crowd of more than 75 people. Guests sampled a variety of chili offerings and cast $1 votes for their favorites.

Cornhole Tournament — round 2!
Round two of the Cornhole Tournament will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016. Please come support our teams 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the ECG Patio!
Bring cash for lunch, which will be pizza provided by ECEE and bake sale items from SSEBE. Bring your friends!
The four winning teams from Friday’s event will join the teams from Round One for the finals on Friday, October 28, 2016.

With eight weeks left in the United Way campaign, we are slightly more than halfway to our goal of $45,000. About 17 percent of faculty and staff have completed a pledge form — we’re aiming for 100 percent! (Psst: You are not required to make a contribution, but you must complete a form to be considered a participant.) Go to My ASU and complete the online process, or download the pledge form and turn it in to your United Way representative.
