Kolbert has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1999, and won numerous awards for her 2005 series “The Climate of Man.” Her work has also appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Vogue, Mother Jones and several anthologies. Her book, The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History, won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction and has appeared on top book lists.
