Learn more about the human role in climate change, its effects on natural and human environments and what can be done about it. A Q&A, brief reception and book signing will round out the event.

Kolbert has been a staff writer for The New Yorker since 1999, and won numerous awards for her 2005 series “The Climate of Man.” Her work has also appeared in The New York Times Magazine, VogueMother Jones and several anthologies. Her book, The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History, won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction and has appeared on top book lists.
