image001The Arizona State University Committee for Campus Inclusion (CCI) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2016 CCI Diversity and Inclusion Education Conference: “Cultivating Inclusion: Creating Student-Centric Approaches in the 21st Century Classroom.”

The goal of CCI’s annual conference is to provide readily accessible training, strategies and dialogue on issues related to diversity and inclusion in higher education. The conference will feature a variety of workshops and events and will take place at all four campuses in November and December, beginning with the CCI Conference at the Tempe campus on Tuesday, November 1. The conference is for all ASU faculty, staff and students and is free to attend. This is a great professional development opportunity!

The ASU Committee for Campus Inclusion is currently accepting workshop proposals for the 2016 conference on topics related, but not limited to: diversity, inclusion, campus climate, culture, race, racism/discrimination, class, gender, sexual orientation, identity, intersectionality, disabilities, recruitment/retention of underrepresented students/faculty, supporting Veteran students, accessibility, etc.
