Will big data predict the future? What is the future of human enhancement? What will stadiums of the future look like? What is the future of simulation and virtuality? Those are just some of the questions being explored at Emerge 2016.

Emerge is a festival of athletic, artistic and scientific ideas of the future presented through interactive experiences, design prototypes, multimedia, theater, and more. Join faculty presenting at the event to see how their research fits into sports of the future.

Associate Professor Sangram Redkar and Professor Tom Sugar of the Human Machine Integration Lab are presenting “Super-Cyborgs: The Future of Human Enhancement.” Try on a jetpack and experience the future of human enhancement.

Assistant Professor Shawn Jordan of the STEAM Labs Center is presenting the “Future of Games: Rube Goldberg.”

President’s Professor Brad Allenby, founding member of the Emerge Brain Trust, is also presenting.
