Come out and support the Sun Devil women’s basketball team as they have been selected as the No. 2 seed in the Sioux Falls Regional of the 2016 NCAA Tournament! The Sun Devils will host the first and second rounds at Wells Fargo Arena on Friday, March 18 and Sunday, March 20. The journey to the Final Four in Indianapolis begins as the Sun Devils take on the No. 15 seed New Mexico State in the first round at 4:30 p.m. on March 18.
The Sun Devils game will be preceded by the No. 7 seed Tennessee vs. the No. 10 Seed Wisconsin-Green Bay. The winners of Friday’s games will face off on Sunday, March 20 to advance to the Sweet 16 in Sioux Falls.
This is the second consecutive year that ASU has been selected as a host. Last year, the strong support helped propel Sun Devil Women’s Basketball on to the 2015 Sweet 16. This year, the Sun Devils received the highest seed in program history and are looking to add to their 13 game home winning streak!
