The Interdisciplinary Research Colloquium (IRC) promotes interdisciplinary research, professional development and community among a diverse group of stellar first-year graduate students. Originally developed for Reach for the Stars and Doctoral Enrichment Fellows, it is now open to any first-year graduate student who is underrepresented in their field of study.

In this interdisciplinary course, students will have the opportunity to hone their skills, gain self-confidence, successfully communicate their research topic and develop leadership abilities. The seminars are restricted to enrolled students and are a great way for graduate scholars to network and collaborate across disciplines.

IRC student presentations are open to the ASU community and invited guests.

Encourage your graduate students to participate in IRC. Contact Jennifer Cason, director of Graduate Support Initiatives, at jennifer.cason@asu.edu
