UCW 2015 Professional Development Conference, August 7ASU professor and storyteller extraordinaire Jewell Parker Rhodes — author of a dozen books including “Bayou Magic,” “Douglass’ Women,” and “Voodoo Dreams” — will be the opening keynote speaker. She is artistic director of Piper Global Engagement and Piper Endowed Chair, Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at ASU. Senior vice president Christine Wilkinson will share short remarks during lunch.
