For those haven’t heard, Noble Library has been closed for the remainder of Spring 2015 to repair damage caused by a sprinkler malfunction earlier this month.

While the library’s collection has been mostly unharmed, the study spaces, offices, furniture, and elevators suffered significant water damage.

Meanwhile:

  • Noble Library staff have relocated to Hayden Library.
  • Course Reserve and Science Reserve material has been relocated and is now available at the Hayden Library Information Desk.
  • To request books shelved in Noble, use the request button on the book’s catalog record.
  • To Request articles from journal volumes shelved in Noble, or to request other material (maps, standards, microfilm, etc), use the Interlibrary Loan Service.

Staff are retrieving requested materials from Noble twice a day, Monday through Friday, for pick up at the Hayden Library Info Desk. Your engineering librarians, Linda and Sam, have offices in Hayden in the upper concourse, rooms C1D and C1H.

The library will remain closed during repairs and is expected to be open again in time for the Fall 2015 semester.

For more updates and photographs of the repair in progress, or how to obtain materials from Noble, visit the website created by Noble Library staff: libguides.asu.edu/noblenews.
