About World Record to End Hunger
82,000 households suffer from chronic hunger in our community. On national Make A Difference Day, Student United Way at ASU and Valley of the Sun United Way will rally ASU students and community members to help end hunger for those households.
Volunteers will pack over 1,600 WeekEND Hunger Backpacks to break the World Record (Yes, Guiness World Records will be there!) for number of hunger relief packages ever assembled simultaneously and to provide over 11,000 meals to children in our communities.
