Join the ASU EcoCar 3 Team and Valley of the Sun Clean Cities Coalition in Celebration of Alternative Fuel Technology. See Emergency Alternative Fuel Vehicles that can be used for emergencies in the event of a failure of our pipeline supply of traditional fuel.

Learn about the use of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles to improve the environment and lessen dependence on foreign oil at National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey event.

ASU EcoCAR 3 is competing in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition (AVTC) series, North America’s premier collegiate automotive engineering competition. The team is redesigning a Chevrolet Camaro into a hybrid-electric car that will reduce environmental impact, while maintaining the muscle and performance expected from this iconic American car.
