Louis P. Berneman, will present VC 101: A Primer on Venture Capital. Berneman is the founding partner of Osage University Partners (OUP), a $100M venture capital firm that invests in university spinouts commercializing disruptive science. Osage has invested in more than 30 companies ranging in sectors such as software, hardware and life sciences. He has also co-founded, capitalized, and led four academic startups.

The event will continue with a panel discussion featuring Berneman and individuals with extensive experience in university technology commercialization who can share their perspectives from both inside and outside academia.
