Hand sanitizer may be a health risk, ASU researcher says (Channel 12 News – Phoenix, The Arizona Republic)
Research led by ASU engineer Rolf Halden has found a common ingredient used in antibacterial soap and other consumers products could have detrimental impact impacts on human health and the environment. Halden is a professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, and the founding director of Center for Environmental Security at ASU’s Biodesign Institute.
