Report an accessibility problem

Due to a newly-discovered security vulnerability, all ASU faculty, staff, and students are advised to discontinue use of the Internet Explorer web browser, and instead to use an alternative browser such as Firefox or Chrome. Additionally, the Windows XP operating system should not be used. This advice is subsequent to the issuance of a US-CERT security alert issued for all Internet Explorer (IE) users.  This “Zero-Day” exploit is addressed in Microsoft security advisory CVE-2014-1776 and reports “limited, targeted attacks.”

Members of the University community who continue to use a system running Microsoft Windows XP or browse using Internet Explorer may find connectivity issues or inconsistent results as the University works to protect enterprise systems.

For Blackboard, the same guidance applies. Find specific alternate browser recommendations

See the Internet Explorer Zero Day Alert GetProtected announcement for additional details, as well as future updates.
