Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend? The ninth annual Avnet Tech Games will be in full swing this Saturday at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Ariz. from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Nearly 200 college students will compete in various technology-based competitions with scholarships and prizes on the line. In addition to the competitive events, there will be some fun activities for all attendees:

  • Chance to win a great prize through our social media activity: 7:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Mini-Build-the-Fastest-Computer competition: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Build your own Minecraft creation: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
  • Robotics demonstrations in the main courtyard: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Game Truck featuring the latest in gaming: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Networking Hour with top Avnet and sponsor executives: 3–4 p.m.
  • And much more!
