Jeffrey La Belle is among the “Campus Stars” featured recently on the website of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). La Belle, an assistant professor of biomedical engineering in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering, talks about his philosophy of teaching, working with students on research and his extracurricular activities. La Belle is also on the faculty of Barrett, The Honors College and an adjunct assistant professor with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is the coordinator of the Research Scholars Program for the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering and has a research affiliation with ASU’s Biodesign Institute.
In 2013, La Belle was among those ranked in the top 5 percent for teaching excellence in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.
