The sixth biannual conference in the Nano and Giga Forums series is coming to ASU’s Tempe campus in spring 2014. The meeting attracts about 500 scientists, students and entrepreneurs from around the world. Invited speakers include researchers from American universities like Princeton, Stanford, UC Berkeley, University of Chicago, Cornell  as well as from IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung and Intel. International speakers will be coming from England, France, Germany and Japan.

The conference consists of a two-day school (tutorial lectures), which is free for grad students, symposium (original research papers and reviews) and several satellite and affiliated events including workshops on nanotechnology instrumentation and technology innovations. The conference lectures and selected peer reviewed papers will be published in a book by Springer and two special issues of Solid State Electronics by Elsevier and the International Journal of Nanotechnology by Inderscience publishers.

The deadline for submitting oral presentations is December 10, 2013. The deadline for submitting research posters is January 10, 2014. View the conference’s important dates
