Report an accessibility problem

The Arizona State University Founders’ Day awards recognizing those who exemplify how the ASU community is addressing society’s most pressing challenges. Nominate faculty members by Friday, November 22, 2013.

On Feb. 20, 2014, a Founders’ Day celebration will honor alumni, faculty and ASU supporters actively engaged in discovering, developing and implementing health solutions.

Faculty awards include:

  • The Faculty Research Award recognizing an ASU faculty member whose research has made significant contributions to advancing health and improving lives, and who has made credible contributions to higher education outside the classroom through research and/or creative activity. The faculty member does not need to have worked as a health care practitioner.
  • The Faculty Service Award honoring an ASU faculty member whose service to the university and/or the community has made an impact on advancing health and improving lives. The faculty member does not need to have worked as a health care practitioner.
  • The Faculty Teaching Award recognizing an ASU faculty member who delivers an educational experience that creates an impactful narrative to advance health and improve lives, and who has demonstrated exceptional teaching at the university and demonstrates the value placed on teaching.

Faculty members do not need to have worked as health-care practitioners to be eligible for the awards.
