The United Way serves the needs of individuals and families in Maricopa County. Together with its volunteers, partners, donors and business supporters, United Way is building caring communities where each person has the opportunity to:
- Obtain a good education for their children.
- Provide a home for their family.
- Keep food on the table.
- Experience the security that comes with financial independence.
You can complete your pledge form on paper or online with the ePledge.
Return paper pledges to ASU United Way, Attn: Katie Aguilar, Mail Code 5612. Online donations must be made by October 31. If you submit your pledge by October 4, you will qualify for participation in our early bird drawing on October 10.
The Athletics Department is offering the following incentives for United Way donations.
- Any donation – 2 free tickets to a non-conference men’s or women’s basketball game
- $100 donation – entered into a drawing for an autographed football
- $250 donation – free pitchfork pass
The pitchfork pass allows entrance into all Olympic sport events but it does not include softball or baseball. The seating is general admission. The pitchfork pass does not work for games played at a neutral spot or post season play. If one attended a lot of events it would be cost effective since the pass costs $99 for adults and $65 for seniors.

Tempe Center for the Arts
Vocalist Dee Alexander joins the ASU Concert Jazz Band to pay tribute to the greatest songstresses of jazz, performing the original arrangements from your favorite recordings by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday and Dinah Washington.
Dee Alexander is among the premier vocalists and songwriters in American music today and one of Chicago’s most gifted and respected artists. Her performances span virtually every musical genre related to the African diaspora–gospel, blues, neo-soul, rhythm-and-blues and world music–but her true heart belongs to jazz, the one idiom that can encompass all her influences.
