ASU’s Academic Writing Coach (AWC) services are designed to help improve ASU international students’ writing skills. AWC’s are certified to provide intensive tutoring through any writing assignment, thesis or dissertation. AWC’s will also help international students to create a structured approach to writing assignments for meeting goals and deadlines.
Students purchase AWC time in 10-hour blocks, to be used throughout a semester, at ce.asu.edu/awc. One 10-hour block of AWC time costs $100. Upon purchase, the student will be contacted and matched with an AWC whose expertise matches the student’s needs. The AWC and the student will coordinate with each other for tutoring times and places at Tempe campus. More than one 10-hour block can be purchased, depending on a student’s needs.
