FLASH Forward and Back routes are detoured in the northern area of the Tempe campus until further notice:
- Northbound: Regular route east on Sixth Street to Packard Drive; continue east on Sixth Street to Rural Road; north on Rural Road to Rio Salado Parkway; west on Rio Salado Parkway to Packard Drive; south on Packard Drive to begin southbound trip.
- What this detour means for FLASH passengers:
- The stop on the west side of Packard Drive that is north of Rio Salado is not being serviced
- None of the stops on the east side of Packard Drive between Sixth Street and Rio Salado are being serviced
- Passengers should board/disembark the FLASH on the WEST side of Packard Drive between Sixth Street and Rio Salado
FLASH Back
Beginning May 28 until June 5, FLASH Back will also run on this detoured route near Apache Boulevard and McAllister Avenue:
- Regular route east on Apache Boulevard to McAllister Avenue; continue east on Apache Boulevard to Rural Road; north on Rural Road to Lemon Street; west on Lemon Street to McAllister Avenue; north on McAllister Avenue to resume regular route.
- What this detour means for FLASH passengers:
- Stops on the east side of McAllister Avenue between Apache Boulevard and Lemon Street will not be serviced from May 28-June 5.
Now through May 31, FLASH Back has this additional detour, but it is not affecting the bus’s ability to make its scheduled stops in the area:
- Forest Avenue south to Lemon Street; Lemon Street east to College Avenue; College Avenue south to Apache Boulevard to resume regular route.
FLASH Forward
Beginning May 28 through the end of the summer, the FLASH stop on the west side of McAllister Avenue, just south of the Sun Devil Fitness Complex (SDFC) intramural fields will not be serviced. This is due to SDFC expansion construction.
FLASH McAllister does not run during the summer.
Detours will continue throughout the summer, stay in the know by locating signage at FLASH stops and following ASU Parking and Transit Services on Facebook and Twitter posts.
