Kamil Kaloush, associate professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, was awarded the 2013 Outstanding Research Award from the Rubber Pavements Association “in recognition of a decade of contribution to the field of asphalt rubber technology on the national and international levels, and for advancing the state of knowledge in the fields of performance testing and environmental benefits.”
The Rubber Pavements Association is an international not-for-profit association dedicated to encouraging greater use of high-quality, cost-effective asphalt pavements containing recycled scrap tire rubber.
Kaloush received the award at RPA’s annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
